Campaign Advanced Settings

You can select the campaign display types and configure its priorities.

Campaign Display Types

You can either publish your campaign as a popup or as embedded content. The difference between the both is explained below.

Popup

Selecting this option will display your campaign as a popup on your website.

Embedded Content

Display your campaign as an embedded content on your website.

1. Set the Display Type to Embedded Content.

2. Select the placement option from the Insert Option dropdown.

   • Append to Container : Displays the campaign inside the class container, at the end, i.e., after the container’s contents.
   • Prepend in Container : Displays the campaign inside the class container, at the top, i.e., before the container’s contents.
   • Insert Before Container : Displays the campaign outside the class container, above its contents.
   • Insert After Container : Displays the campaign outside the class container, below its contents.

   

3. Enter the JavaScript class name for the container you are using as the display placement reference.

   

Locating placement for Embedded Content

The image below demonstrates the Fluentos embedded campaign appended to the container class .product-info on the website.

In the image shared below, Spin the Wheel campaign is appended to the .product-info containter class.

Embedded Display Tips

• Use it for a specific website URL that can be configured through the campaign triggers.
• Select Exclude (Used for permanent positions) under Campaign Priority.

Campaing Priorities

Campaign priorities allow you to control the order in which multiple campaigns appear on your website, managing scenarios where different campaigns might compete for display.

Exclude (used for permanent positions)

Use this setting to prevent a campaign from entering the prioritization queue.

Common Use Cases

• Chat Options: Ensures the chat remains visible regardless of other active campaigns.
• Floating Banners: Keep essential banners active continuously without interruption.

Enable Priority-Based Suspension

This setting forces any currently opened campaign to close if another campaign with a higher priority attempts to open.

Example Workflow

• Campaign 1: Subscribe to a newsletter with a teaser. [Priority 20]
• Campaign 2: Promotion to participate in the competition. [Priority 1, Show after 5 seconds]

If both campaigns are active, Campaign 2 will temporarily close Campaign 1 and and resume displaying it once an action (click/interaction) is taken on Campaign 2.

Skip Priority Check (urgent display)

This setting allows a campaign to bypass the usual priority rules, ensuring it is displayed immediately, regardless of other active campaigns.

Use Case: Exit Intent

Use this to ensure campaign is displayed before a customer leaves the page.

Use Case: Important Alerts

Messages like “Check Our Size Guide” are guaranteed to be seen.

Priority (Explained)

In a scenario where two campaigns conflict, the one with the lower number will be displayed.

Detailed Flows

Flow 1

• Campaign 1: [Priority 1]
• Campaign 2: [Priority 2]

Outcome: Campaign 1 will be displayed as having the higher priority (lower number).

Flow 2

Enable Priority-Based Suspension.

• Campaign 1: [Priority 1, Show after 10 seconds]
• Campaign 2: [Priority 2, Show after 5 seconds]

Outcome: Campaign 2 appears first but is suspended when Campaign 1 starts.

Flow 3

Enable Priority-Based Suspension.

• Campaign 1: [Priority 1, Show after 10 seconds]
• Campaign 2: [Priority 2, Show after 5 seconds]
• Campaign 3: Priority 20, Show after 20 seconds, uses Skip Priority Check]

Outcome: Campaign 2 starts first, is suspended by Campaign 1, and then Campaign 3 appears, ignoring other priorities.

Flow 4

Enable Priority-Based Suspension.

• Campaign 1: [Priority 2, Show after 10 seconds]
• Campaign 2: [Priority 1, Show after 5 seconds]

Outcome: Campaign 2 appears first, and Campaign 1 will not show until Campaign 2 is closed or completed.
